Damn, that's just making me hungry.

At some point in my life I will definitely visit the US on a bbq eating mission!

Anthony Bourdain has to be my all time favourite chef. His book ''Kitchen Confidential'' is an absolute must read for any anarchic cooks like myself and his ''les Halles Cookbook'' is one of the most inspirational books I've ever read.

Great show, but did anybody else find it a little ironic that the head of the Kansas City Bbq sociaty, eating at one of the most famous KC bbq establishments, suggest the North Carolina pulled pork sandwich as her favorite dish,lol...

The Team that went out to American Royal last year had a pilgrimage to Oaklahoma Joes and we were lucky enough to get a personal tour of the facility by the Doug Worgul - Head of Marketing (and author of A Thin blue Smoke). The food was stunning.

We recorded the experience here...
http://www.bbqfanatics.co.uk/2010/10/oklahoma-joes-bbq-restaurant-kansas.html

and got some footage of them pulling pork...
