BBQ in Sheffield?

Postby Tiny » 10 May 2014, 17:34

Afternoon Chaps,
Next weekend I am making the long haul from the lovely South Coast to the north, well Sheffield to be exact, it is rather a long way away but I thought the tortuous journey could be eased with BBQ fare on the Friday night.

I know there are some sheffieldarians on here so any tips?

As we are undertaking the journey as 3 blind chaps with our guide dogs I don't see anything could possibly go wrong so the addition of an bbq resteraunt visit adds another dimension to the potential mayhem, and I rather like mayhem!

Cheers

As mentioned there is smokebbq in Sheffield, I have not been there myself, however I believe it is very popular, and getting a table can sometimes be problematic, I think I have read other disgruntled posts reguarding the waiting times etc, not sure about booking though.

I went back in January to SmokeBBQ after seeing lots of amazing photos on Twitter. I hate to say it but my Burger looked nothing like the photo I saw :( my cousins ribs where very dry this maybe because they Finnish the food on a open pit/grill. I also had chicken wing they were very nice. Service is very good and friendly. Problemly won't go again but I do live in Cornwall.
If your ever in Cornwall or Exeter go to Hubbox for an amazing burger ( Big Kahuna)
Cheers Dennis
