Todays cook

Postby Tyrone1Wils » 01 Mar 2014, 11:52

I've got a few things on the go today. Getting another cook in with my UDS to try and learn how to control the beast.

Today were cooking;
A Pork Shoulder
Beef Ribs
Pork Ribs

I ordered a couple of rubs online to try out. These are;
Oakridge Black Ops - On the Beef Ribs
Oakridge Comp Pork and Beef - On the Pork Ribs
Plowboys Bovine Bold -On the Pork Shoulder

Now for some pics.

Only managed to get 1 picture of the ribs before foiling. Then my camera battery died.

Here's a sneak peak.

All done and the food was gooood.

I'm learning how to use this UDS more and more. Temp stayed between 270-280 during this whole cook, which is where i wanted it. This is the best cook I've ever done.
BTW this is my 5th time ever doing this style of BBQ.

All three of the rubs i used were amazing and would definitely use again.

Onto the pics.

Pulled Pork. Probed like butter!

This was one full plate and I ate every single thing, homemade fries and some garlic bread.
