Looking forward to BBQ summer

Postby Minesamojito » 27 Apr 2013, 08:41

Hey Guys,
I've been a bit quiet over the winter, been v busy with family things going on, and a few other projects, but the BBQ is back up and smoking a bit more regularly, and I'm looking forward to cooking outdoors some more, and sharing a few pics again.
Hope that's ok with you guys?
Cheers

Here's a cider braised pulled pork I did recently using chunks of apple wood cut from my apple tree to smoke. The pork was outstanding quality rare breed Berkshire.

Last week I stuck some Souvlaki on the barbecue.

Add Souvlaki, red onion, cucumber, and a little hot smoked paprika (the latter two not on this pic):

That was chicken. So nice that we're doing it again later today, even though we usually have a traditional sunday dinner.

As well as the chickenI have some lamb leg and pork shoulder.

They look nice, I was trying out the new Lakeland stuffed burger maker with varying degrees of success (full review to come) and Sinner's Kievs.

some cracking food there, has been a great weekend for outdoor cooking :)
Yeah I noticed those stuffed burger makers, look forward to your review.
I stuffed a burger with stinking bishop cheese, was amazing, try it.
