Vac packed, skin on, good layer of fat. Other supermarkets may follow suit too.

Asda do the same type of joint, is that a picnic rather then a butt. Nothing wrong with a picnic joint as they are cheaper cut with a nice bit of meat on them.

I got the pic from mysupermarket.co.uk :lol:

They are all of different shapes and sizes. Just pick the one that takes your fancy.

They also have silverside at £4.99/kg - not for BBQ but for making biltong! :P

Got one of these on at the moment, my first attempt with my UDS. I figure if it all goes horribly wrong at least I haven't spent an arm and a leg.

I've got 225 at the mo, I can't believe it! I thought it would take a lot more tweaking.

If it goes wrong, then it's one for expeience, then chop it up and put it in a chilli :D
