Weber 57cm one touch.

Postby Chris6156 » 22 Jul 2012, 19:11

Hi all,
This week I purchased a Weber 57cm one touch. I used it for the first time today. I did not really use if for long, as I was only cooking handmade meatballs stuffed with mozerrala cheese, I also did a tray of vegatables on it.

I thought it cooked them beautifully and I was amazed at how long the BBQ retained the heat for, ok so it was only ever going to take 10 mins to cook the meatballs, but hours later the BBQ was still hot.

I have had many BBQ's in the past and none have kept the heat like the weber, my oil drum style BBQ is good, but this weber is just superb. Next weekend I will be having a lot of guests round, and I have got quite a menu lined up, so feeling really good about executing the menu!

You have good reason to be happy with the performance, with a will these things can run low and slow for quite some time, managed 9 hrs on mine at 230 degrees.... Takes some practice but can be achieved with a bit of forward planning and the right coals....stick with it
