Costco card

Postby thebigreaper » 20 Jul 2012, 18:41

Hi all
On one of the other threads someone mentions getting a Costo card to purchase some gear.
I work at Costco and have a spare card that I can give to someone gratis . But would like to make a few points first :
I would like it to go to someone who lives near or knows some of the other users of this site then a few people can get the benefit from it.( one person has to have their photo on the card but can then take in two guests at a time, the person photographed is the actual member and must go each time the with the guests, the card is checked on entry. ).
You can use it to buy anything but it has to be cash or a debit card.
Specifically for bbqing they sell baby back ribs - 4 racks for around a tenner
pork butts ( thy actually sell pork shoulder steaks but will happily sell you the full joint ie butt ) I think they are £4.65 per kilo
chicken fillets £6.95 per kilo
twin pack full chickens £7.49 per pack ( two good size birds )
unfortunately the brisket comes already boned and rolled ( not sure if you can just cut the strings and open them out ?? )
loads of other cuts of beef including rib of beef on the bone ,every steak ,burgers, sausage, meatballs ( for moinks )
Lamb , duck ,turkey ,Hams
Franks hot sauce
Nandos hot sauce
lots of spices ( not sure how the price compares )
Fags , booze , canoes( paddle round the pier )

Please feel free to ask an questions ,but im going to bed now as i start at 04:30 am tomorrow
So i will reply tomorrow .

I work at the Oldham warehouse.
The card can be used at any costco in the world. there are plenty of them down south , Watford , Reading for those that live around there.
I think I can just post the card and the member just has to get their photo put on in their local store.

Like I said earlier if someone meets up or lives near other forum users it would benefit more people .
The reason Costco give employees cards to give out is to increase business , hence would like it to be used rather than someone having one for the sake of it.
Hopefully no anymosity will arise out of this, plus so far nobody has actually said they want it. :?

Well then I'll step forward and request one please, as far as I'm aware I live near Eddie, London Irish, big fat dan and few others around south east London and I'm happy to plan a Costco meet up for the benefit of those members.
