I actually quite like the cook outside eat inside combo. The number of times we cook outside rose dramatically once we gave up on eating outside. Think last year we only ate out once despite cooking outside at least once a week. So far this year we've managed to double that.
Sure I like the al fresco experience when the weather is hot (though not too hot) but not getting bothered by flies/wasps/midges, not having food go cold quickly, not having to worry whether that cloud is going to dump its load on us sure made the dining experience a much better one.
We also like to cook outside sometimes just to keep the smell out of the house. Certainly eat a lot more duck since we purchased the Webers.
