Thanks for the heads up, it was watching his Primal Grill series that led me to buying a Weber and finding this forum. My gosh he has a lot to answer for
All set. Bizarrely Keith the purchase of my weber kettle lead to me buying this book. I do hope it's not quite the same as primal grill, I've mastered the surgeons knot
I've seen a few clips on t'internet and it is a bit Janet & John, BUT if it gets the public thinking and maybe taking the next step then it's all to the good. It's difficult to get a doctorate or masters if you can't get past basic reading, translated to good barbecue of course
I watched a few episodes of Primal Grill a while back and thought they were a bit boring compared to Licence To Grill but if this new show gets people bbqing then good for him!
Will give it a go though, i'll watch anything to do with bbqs
Well I've watched the first show and half of the second. It is basic but gives good, simple advice that anyone new to barbecue cooking should easily master enabling them to get past burgers and sausages. Not nearly as annoying as Primal Grill, given then lack off barbecue TV here in the UK it's worth a watch for all but the most seasoned of cooks.
Not a fan of Raichlen's shows or books myself but they have their place and they do get people thinking about more than botulism burgers. That's got to be a good thing
