Managed to get a supposedly new one on eBay today for a shade over £500 inc delivery. Wasn't looking for one and haven't got a clue where I'll put it or when I will use it - total impulse buy :roll:

Damn i was bidding on that and thought it had days and days to go! Didnt get notification bidding was going to end, did it end early?

Up at four this morning to go to smithfields with cuan... The thing one does for bbq.

The Fox & Anchor was always our "go-to" pub after nights for an enormous fry-up hope they still do them 8-)

Nope ended as scheduled - seller only had it on for a few days, which probably worked in my favour

Good score, well done.

Probably totally irrelevant but I'll post it anyway before I forget, if you ever decide to use a Stoker or Guru on it for temp control with indirect don't fit it to the intakes as recommended by Guru/Rock's. The guy next to us at Vegas had two ranch's set up with stokers and he had originally done that only to find that the blowers end up as grease drains and stop working very quickly :shock: You need to drill holes and mount in the sides.

I realise that this info will probably not interest most ranch owners but you never know ;)

Problem is I still want an egg. Another time maybe. I also probably need to consider reducing the number of cookers I've got, a 57cm OTP, a Performer, a 47cm WSM, a 57cm WSM, a 67cm OTP, a smokey joe and a Q200 are making the back garden look very crowded.
