Bummer it's 28 degrees here with no rain forecast for a week, only downside is my BBQ is thousands of miles away
Re: B**dy Rain
Tell me about it. It had better sort it out for next weekend we are running a full competition cook practice. It had better be sunny end of may for the start of the season!
are you all competing then in May? I can't wait.

Sometimes working the weekends when it's poring down has it advantage. Monday & Tuesday off, apparently sunny both days.

Guess what - Bank weekend & rain is forecast!
Re: B**dy Rain
Same here, but a venture to B&Q got me a 4m x 5m tarp for about 10 quid which I could cover most of my yard with. Having just received my guru party Q looking to try it under cover with a smoke tomorrow.

Re: B**dy Rain
I did question my sanity when I put the pork hand on at half ten on Saturday night with a gale blowing, the rain walloping down & the BBQ standing in half an inch of water!!! But then Sunday's evening meal was worth it
Woke up Sunday morning to see a lake had appeared & that a power line pole had come down in the field across the road from our house - so it was pretty windy here it would seem!
Drought? My a*55 !

Re: B**dy Rain
in arizona it hardly rains people here actusally get out of the car when it rains in order to get wet,it rained less then 12 days a year usually. when i visit my family in new york state when it rains i wonder what that noise on the roof is-can you believe you can actually forget it in the desert!
Re: B**dy Rain
So far this April, some parts of England have had over 15cm of rain..
Cant imagine living somewhere I wouldnt have to wrestle an angry tarpaulin to the ground before I could start cooking

Ah, if only to live in a dessert and not rain drenched England.
I'm lucky enough to have a retractable awning on the side of the house. It was already there when I bought the house and it's been amazing for shielding the rain.
