Yeah mixed reviews, not been myself so can't comment. I think that it depends a lot on expectation too. Hope it's good when you go and you enjoy it.

I used to love it (when they opened in 2002 or whatever I couldn't stop thinking about it, but that was shortly after they were trained by Oklahoma Joes http://bbqfanatic.blogspot.co.uk/2010/1 ... ansas.html). Recent outings have been a bit unreliable, but then my standards have shot up somewhat over the last three years!

I have had a small number of terrible, terrible meals in there, but also some great ones and some great nights out. Give it a whirl.

I went to the Fulham one a while ago and wrote a short review.

The service wasn't great but the food was nice enough - the pulled pork particularly good.

And they made a mistake with my order so I ended up with a full portion of burnt ends and a full portion of pork, rather than a combo of the two.

I'd go again, but don't expect the world. It's good stuff, but not brilliant. Maybe I've been eating competition standard stuff for too long.

I was in the Tower Hill one on Wednesday for lunch and was served quickly. Stuck to the burnt ends which were awesome and have had the full family feast on a boozy night out before which was a bit mixed (lovely beef ribs and burnt ends but the ribs were nothing special).

I will certainly be going back as pass the Tower Hill one a lot and could drink their Chipolte sauce by the pint.

I went last month to the temple hill one, have to say it was pretty damn good.

The buffalo wings were good, and i had the burnt ends, both tasted good, also do a nice selection of bourbon's if that's your bag, i will be going again real soon.
