Which ones did you get? They usually have a bit of plastic between the layers, but you still need to partially defrost to pry them apart. You can then re-freeze.
There will be plastic officially between the ribs, but often it slips out and they clump together. The best way to separate them is with a good strong butchers steel having allowed them to soften SLIGHTLY. I had a clump of 3 which refused to separate till almost defrosted so they went into the fridge and we had ribs the next day. They are well sized for large vac-bags and worth individually freezing vac-packed if possible.
Hiya mate, the loin ribs ( baby backs) in the green box with dragon and Chinese writing on the front are individually wrapped, but they are about £33 a box now.
