Almost pigeon for dinner!

As some of you will know we have carried out alot of building work on our house and in preparation for the comps this season, with over 180kg of grass seed down I am quite protective of our new lawn (well a few blades of grass so far) which gives me the ideal opportunity to add to the larder with a few fat pigeons. Just cleanly took one and was walking over to pick it up when a bird with big talons just nicked it!!!!!!
