Hello from Essex

Post by SmokeySouls »

Hi All,

I just wanted to drop everyone a note to introduce myself, my name is Michael and I’m from a little county called Essex.

I’ve recently got into cooking BBQ over the past few months after years of enjoying it being cooked for me and traveling to different restaurants. At Christmas I cooked my first Brisket (Texas style) which came out amazing and took a lot of work and hours spend around my Big Green Egg on the big day.

I intend to spend the next year improving and cooking as much BBQ as I can and making different rubs and sauces. I recently ordered a 22.5 Weber Smokey Mountain which arrives next week and I’m really looking forward to working with that also.

Looking forward to chatting to you all and sharing ideas and any BBQ advice would be great.

Cheers

Michael

Hi Michael, welcome aboard. Plenty of info on here, use the search facility first, then if you have no luck, start firing questions..

Hi Michael, welcome on board. Sounds like you're well on your way already if you can do a brisket!
