Hello all,
I have an 'outback' 57cm kettle grill I picked up recently in a sale. I've been wanting to get started with slow and low style cooking and stumbled upon the 'smokenator' online. They say it fits a weber kettle, my question is, will it fit any old kettle or is there something about the weber design it fits into?
many thanks!
generic non-weber kettle, will smokenator fit?

Hi
the napoleon pro is just like a weber and it fits that. If it 57cm and is a round kettle im sure it will fit. thats why these people make similar sizes or copy (in china mostly) as you may have it

Doesn't it clip over the grate tabs though, so they will need to be in the same place?

I spoke to e metal fabricator last year who was prepared to custom building me one provided I created a cardboard template for around £30 so if you worried you could try that route?
Personally I don't use one, I prefer the fuse method, but that's just my opinion
