The Big Feastival

This area has been created for anyone that has specific questions about the Big Feastival and our role over the weekend. The BBQ competitions, PitMasters, Ready Steady Q and Kids Q will all be added to the relevant sites / facebook pages Monday afternoon.

I am still waiting to hear back from the event organisers about certain logistics and will forward all information to competing teams once it has been finalised.

Event times as they stand are as follow (although may be amended)

Friday - Event open between 2pm - 10:30pm

15:00 Ready Steady Q
16:00 Ready Steady Q
17:00 Kids Q Juniors
18:00 Kids Q Teens

Saturday - Event open between 12pm - 10:30pm

14:00 Ready Steady Q
15:00 Ready Steady Q
16:00 Kids Q Juniors
17:00 Kids Q Teens

Sunday - Event open between 10am - 8pm

12:00 Ready Steady Q
12:30 Pit Masters Chicken hand in
13:00 Ready Steady Q
13:30 Pit Masters Ribs hand in
14:00 Kids Q Juniors
14:30 Pit Masters Pork hand in
15:00 Kids Q Teens
15:30 Pit Masters Brisket hand in
16:00 Ready Steady Q Series Final
17:00 Awards Presentation

Please note the "Booker Peoples Choice Award" will be judged throughout Sunday. Competing teams will be notified of category details in the next few days.

We are now live on the Big Feastival site http://www.jamieoliver.com/thebigfeastival/ with 96 individuals competing in Ready Steady Q and Kids Q plus the Pit Masters exhibition this is undisputedly the biggest BBQ event the UK has ever seen!

just come back form a visit to the site, its looking fantastic and the Society area is slap bang in the middle of everything, its going to be great!

Currently stands at 14,000 plus, and there is a big push about to take place.
