Post by misterbarbeque »

Hi,

I have a BBQ Business in holland where we deliver a full service outdoor BBQ. User can order online a BBQ Menu (min. 10) and we deliver the food, bbq, plates etc. For this i have developed software (see http://www.misterbarbeque.nl).

I can easy extend under our domain http://www.misterbarbeque.co.uk is there anyone who is interessted in deliver this kind of service in the UK (Software can make selection on zip code area etc..)

Looking forward to see some reactions... you can also send me direct a mail at a.aarts@Misterbarbeque.nl

Sounds good, but here it might be impracticle to do 10 items as it is more of an individual thing. Alot of people might only want a few items. If that were the case, people may be interested.

I think you misundertand. They seem to be catering for small to medium BBQ parties, not to Bert and his missus who feel like BBQ for tea tonight.

Hi, What we do is not selling meat per item but per Menu. We did setup a menu structure, like a BBQ Standard what exist out 5 pcs. meat, sauze .... and we deliver all complete incl. BBQ, Plate etc. So a company or people who give a party have no worrie. We are successfull with this formula in holland. You can think in our first year (this was last year).. we sold via internet about 40.000 BBQ menu's.

So i think i can be a good solution for the UK to. For sure peope search more and more on the internet.

Very interesting, I have had thoughts of doing this very same thing here in Germany...

The problem with germany and UK is the size of the country, holland is small :)... but our software can manage based on zip code... because sometimes it is far away also for us. I think also germany can be indeed very interesting because the "outdoor culture" is almost the same. Think also for company parties etc...
