Not new to Smoking or BBQ but thought I would join the forum for some interaction, but I have been told that the forum is heavily monitored, and if it's not about competition BBQ, your removed? is this right.

There are a lot of wise owls on here with some good tips and yes I suppose it is a "competition clique" Orientated site as our Leader Toby runs the only BBQ circuit in GB and is El presidente of the IBQN (International BBQ network) that sanction these events.
Nah that cannot be right everyone has their views good or bad that's what a good forum is about "debate" its not Russia so crack on, I look forward to some of your Craic

Very strange to be honest. what have you "been told off for" kiska? I must admit to not having seen a question which required an answer directly from me however the fb group runs like a train and I steuggle to keep up with that. This is far from a competition only forum, in fact I haven't seen much to do with comp bbq for ages.

Always best to pose questions directly rather than raise issues elsewhere which will never be seen.

I do apologise for my post. I was just testing the water, as it has been said that the forum was centred around competition cooking.

Now I know it is not, I will only be to happy if you allow me to become an active memeber of your forum.
