Wireless thermometer with more than two probes?

Post by zzubnik »

Does anybody make a wireless thermometer with more than two probes?

I've got a maveric with two probes, which is fine, but I'm often smoking several different meats, for which I'd like more than the two probes.

Thanks, and happy new year.

I don't think there is a 3 probe thermometer on the market for home use. You may be able to find a commercial one, but that may be cost prohibitive. You will probably have to buy another 2 probe thermometer.

iGrill make a 4 probe device that connects to an iphone or android via bluetooth. There is a DIY project called heatermeter that uses 4 probes and uses a raspberry pi to provide wireless and a web display. It also provides fan control to control temps so acts as a stoker system. It can be set up to view the webpage from anywhere.

tommo666, do you have a link to the DIY project? I would be interested in looking at it.

All the pages are here: http://tvwbb.com/forumdisplay.php?85-He ... Controller the wiki here: https://github.com/CapnBry/HeaterMeter/wiki and you can buy all the components in kit form which saves a lot of hassle.
