Maverick ET73 probes

Post by derekmiller »

Does anyone know any suitable replacements for the probes on an ET73. My smoker probe has given up.
Maverick havent replied to my email, neither have Macs, but I think they stopped doing them earlier this year.
Importing the probes available would cost more then getting a new Maverick.
Any thoughts or should I just upgrade to the 733.
Cheers.
Derek.

I'd like to know too.

They are available on eBay - but ridiculous shipping charge from the US.

Just checked the maverick industries web page. Looks like you can order them online:

http://maverickhousewares.bigcartel.com ... food-probe

It doesn't seem to charge extra for delivery to the UK too - not sure if that is a mistake or what. Give it a go - two probes for $20 (about GBP13.50).

There is a drop down which allows you to choose a two pack - 1 food 1 smoker probe. $20 and when I chose UK as the destination, there was no additional shipping charge.

Just order it and check out with PayPal. I don't have an ET-73 - but I use the probes in my home-made arduino temperature monitor.
