Decent brush/cleaner

Post by marcus »

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a decent brush/cleaner for a cast iron grate that won't fall to bits after being used a few times?

Cheers

Apparently the metal bristle ones have caused issues. Even good quality ones can have a bristle fall out and if someone ingests it it cause cause harm.
Rolled up tin foil works well.

Although I usually simply hold the foil in my hand, using a good pair of oven gloves.

Definitely works better with a hot grill.
