Wood chip alternative

Post by smitty »

Probably a stupid question but here goes, I usually use wood chips when I'm grilling on the weber but I've ran out, I also own a pellet smoker, can I use the some pellets in a smoker box? At the end of the day it's still wood right?

Cheers Dave

Yes, i did the same when i had a bullet smoker. In fact i had one of these, then i got the pellet pooper and didn't need it anymore. http://www.socal.co.uk/bbq-accessories/ ... r-set.html

I've heard you can use sweet corn stalks after you've eaten it. Anyone tried it?
