Feel free to ask any questions, one of the experts will certainly respond, don't be afraid to ask anything, we were all beginners at some point.

I have been using Heat Beads for most of my cooks so far as they are just so consistent. I do also find them a little hard to light sometimes but I just do as advised and light then in my chimney starter with some newspaper and natural firelighters with some oil on the paper to keep it burning. After about 15-20 mins you tend to have quite a few of the heat beads with a good white ash covering. I then use them minion method in the bottom of the ProQ Frontier and I have had 17hr cooks from a full basked in the past.

Personally, rather than firelighters I stand the chimney on top of a gas burner 10 mins and you should have flames out the top.
