Hello from Norwich

Post by tiredjohn »

Since I've been reading threads here for months now, I thought it about time I finally posted in here. I started playing with smoking last year when I bought a "drumbecue" offset smoker, which was a hopeless failure (perhaps I'll get round to writing a review at some point), and subsequently made amends for that by getting a proper 57cm WSM a few weeks ago (which I'm very happy with - success with brisket, pulled pork and ribs so far). The drumbecue is also pretty hopeless when it comes to grilling, so that's next on the list to replace - presumably looking at the Weber One Touch is a good place to start?

Hi Tiredjohn. Welcome.

I got a weber master touch a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it! Still learning how to control temps but really enjoying it!

Welcome. I am a WSM fan boy as well and currently looking at replacing my Cadac grill with a one/master touch with a few mods.

Hope the forum can be of help and don't forget photographic evidence of your meaty adventures.
