Hello from Nottingham

Post by BBQ_Dave »

Hi all,

I've not been a BBQ fan for that long, but about 2 years ago I tried Pitt Cue and was that was that.

My job changed massively around this time and through a stroke of luck I began working self-employed representing US & European Co's who want a footing in the UK. Out of the co's I represent one is a BBQ manufacturer (THÜROS) and another is a US charcoal supplier, there may well be more as this is a great market to work in.

I may send the odd post time to time of something I'm working on, but it will never be a sales post, my job is to get them into retail so it will only be to gather information from other users (I have spoken to a few of you already and the knowledge is immense).

I have become totally obsessed with learning as much as possible about smoking, BBQ recipes and everything that goes with it. I'm a decent cook, but prefer to leave it to the experts and just enjoy the experience!

Hi Dave!

I don't know what the rules are about posting commercial sites here, but I for one would be interested in what you are able to supply. I'm just up the road (kinda) in Sheffield, so if you're able to supply restaurant grade lump at the right prices, you might have a customer here!
