What did you guys think about the Cookshack brisket rub. I recieved a bunch when I bought my FEC 500. Tried it once and found it way to salty. Even the beer could not get rid of the salty taste

I dont use anything else, just cooked at the American Royal Invitational and came 21st out of 138 with the cookshack brisket rub, Bearing in mind the last time i cooked a competition brisket was at the Royal Open in 2009 I have to give the rub a fair amount of credit.
