20% off a Thermapen

Post by smitty »

Found a voucher code offering 20% off the price of a thermapen to be used at www.thermapen.co.uk, just type in GF20 in the voucher code box at the checkout. Thought it might be useful for someone as there not cheap

ETi are still selling them on eBay with a choice of colours.

They say they are reconditioned, but I have one of those and a BNIB version and, other than the colour I can find no difference. They are certified and guaranteed by the manufacturer :D

What makes the Thermapen so good? Speed? Accuracy? Size?

I bought obe off Eti on Amazon. They advertise them at different prices I paid 37 quid and got a silica rubber cover thrown in. I am impressed with the speed abd clarity.. Two things I dont like thought. It is designed to be used in the right hand so for left handed people that makes it uncomfortable and cumbersome. I like to switch between Celsius and fahrenheit and without changing dip switches this cannot be done on the fly.

Would I buy it again, yes but the left handed bit is annoying for a premium product.

I'd too prefer the ability to use in my left hand & switch between C&F more easily
