You could get four of those on a 57cm grill, as long as you have a decent domed lid, it will require some folding and tucking of the meat but they'd go on there

Got a 57cm kettle & 47cm WSM, but for some reason don't like folding or rolling....I must be special

A fair few - Maybe 8 or 10. Never counted they are good. Need trimming of fat, and membrane, and I like to cut almost st Louis style. I cook them in a rack vertically. They are not frozen individually but there is a plastic membrane between them to ease separation when partially defrosted.

Me too on the German ribs, and will be sticking to them from now on when I 'm doing them for others, but those big fellas are great but at about £8 a rack I'll be doing them just for me or if we have a few people around, great for 'WOW factor'.

Are those the ones labelled as 'meaty ribs''? I normally get the 'German' ribs at 21.99. Never had the standard ribs - how do they compare?

The standard ribs I've had are just a little less meaty and a little smaller, if you're going to St Lois cut them up then stay with the £21.99 German ribs

The loin ribs from booker are nice too. They are fairly tender, and cook up nicely, if a bit expensive compared to the german ribs. Not terribly meaty - but pretty good. They are individually wrapped and frozen, which makes it easy to just do a rack or two.

Looking at the photos of the 'meaty' ribs and description of the standard ribs - it looks like the difference comes down to the size of the ribs - not how much meat is left on them when the belly/loin is cut off.

Cosco are selling 4 packs of loin ribs for around £9 to 12 depending on weight. Seem quite meaty. I had to get a pack to trial...

I tend to find the Costco ribs can be a bit hit and miss. In any one pack there are usually one or two racks that are ok with the rest being on the stingier size with the occasional shiner.

True but these are 4 full racks of baby backs vac packed. I split them into 2's and froze..

I have to agree with Robin, I've yet to find 4 good reacks, either in the vac-packs or poly trays. In fact the last time I bought the poly tray ribs, I had 3 full sized racks and 6 bits to make up the difference
