I purchased a very cheap smoker from Morrison in the summer and am just about to build it. I'm having a lot of trouble trying to find wood to use anyone have any ideas or advise in the kent area?

best thing to do would be to get hold of some wood chips or chunks which you can pick up from most garden centers, dont make the mistake of thinking you need to put logs on there to get a smoky flavor, you will end up with acrid tasting food.

What type of smoker is it?

Thanks for replying to my post, think ill take wonder down my local farm shop and take a look what they sell. I'm not sure what you call the type of smoker I have but it is a half barrel on its side with a chiminey coming from one side.
