Just in case nobody has mentioned this already, genuine us of a bear paws are available on amazon uk for £15 + pp. from a uk supplier.

Good spot, nice one.

I do remember reading that, if you use them when the meat is still full temperature, they can melt. Anyone had any experience of this?

At 15 quid, I would expect them to be made of metal.

I have a pair. Can't say I've seen any signs of melting. Also can't say that I find them any more effective that using a pair or forks.
