At the risk of resurrecting an old thread. I'm off to Florida too in July and this place has been recommended to me

Food was pretty much bad in Orlando. In Florida generally tbh. We bought our own and cooked it ourselves a fair bit (try Publix, avoid Walmart, Wholefoods are nice if you like to spend $$$$$). Went to a decent Mexican place somewhere in the Orlando area, plus an Ethiopian joint that was ok enough.

Last time I was there I went to http://4rsmokehouse.com/ (four rivers smokehouse) there are 2 of them and the food was great, all the usual suspects, you just queue and get it all on a pepered tray and they sell until they are out of meat, great sides and krispy kreme bread pudding (which i have made myself - sweet doesnt come close haha) Will be paying them a visit this november too.

Don't bother with bubbalous bodacious BBQ, I was told 4rivers is good but be warned, shut on Sunday.

My first ever brisket was better than bubbalous, it was like it had been sliced and sat under a lamp for a long time.

Recommend yellow dog eats, really good sandwich, mostly pulled pork but with a quirky difference.

2nd vote for charlies steak house, filet mignon I had there was excellent, although save room for desert.

Downtown Disney is good for earl of sandwich, excellent roast beef sandwich there.

For breakfast kikis is excellent as is toojays, I had an amazing ruben sandwich there and they do all kinds of deli meat sandwiches.

Find some nice Cuban mojo. It is like their pulled pork.
