Okay, so not a new toy, but just found this link on ebay for refurbished units at £28.80 (from the manufacturer):

they still come with a 12 mth warranty. Having only read good things about them I've just ordered one - there's three left by my reckoning.

I've had a couple of these - you won't notice the difference compared to the full price versions.
