Hi,
After a few months of using a cheap Weber knock-off with wobbly legs that the previous owners of the place left I decided to get something a bit more interesting, a ProQ Trailblazer with smoker box! I'd tried some low 'n' slow stuff before and so wanted to get something that would let me do more of it but also didn't want to go for an all out smoker so an offset seemed perfect for me at the moment. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and cooked a couple of meals on it but Saturday was the first time I tried smoking something properly. I'll put up something in inventors corner to show what mods I've made so please check it out as I'd love to get some feedback. Check out my avatar if you want to see what I've been cooking or better yet head over to the Low 'n' Slow section for my picture heavy write up of my first pork shoulder.
Hi welcome to the forum good to have you here. By the way Nice Setup I was looking at one of them myself. Hope you find the site as helpful as I have since I joined.
Hi - welcome to the forum - going to point my friend at your post as he's just bought himself an offset very similar to yours & you've made a good write-up - so thanks!
