Re: Landman Jubilee Curry Cooker
I think you could have 2 as the Traeger takes up twice the space of a vertical

Re: Landman Jubilee Curry Cooker
It's arrived.....
But needs to go back...dammit!
Delivered this morning and all looked good, packaged very well. Neat little fella with lots of potential.......however on unpacking i found that the inner cooking pot had fallen into the body of the cooker and as this has a lip on the inner edge the pot is stuck fast with no real way of releasing without causing damage. Gave it a go gently trying to push out from underneath thru the charcoal door and gently prying at the edge but no go.
Called the very helpfull David at planet barbecue, he has not heard of this problem before so is arranging collection and replacement....Top marks!

Managed to free the pot this time.........but again not without sustaining some damage. The problem appears to be that the body was out of round at the exhaust area on both examples and although pretty well packed from external influence the weight of the pot and vibration or possible man handling during transit allowed it to drop inside. Careful prying between body and pot with a large spoon managed to flex the 2 enough to release this time although i do now have small indentations and missing enamel in these areas.
1st impression of cooker poor, enamel is very soft and steel gauge very flexible so finish has blown in a few areas, not limited to my exploits. Exhaust manifold & charcoal door on this unit are a poor fit,1st unit was better. Fittings supplied adequate but will need to use my own for longevity.
Overall impression excited..............it isnt weber quality but then it isnt weber money either it is a steal at the current price. A little smaller than i thought (I have size issues) but still a good base for a project or to simply cook curry on.
Planet bbq service - excellent
