meaty spares at bookers on offer

Bookers have boxes of meaty [ spanish ] spares @ £24 per 10kg box on offer . approx 5-6 racks per box...require some trim but not bad value

Had some of these babies at the weekend, pretty reasonable. Nice and meaty, did require a bit of trim as John said and this was made all the more difficult as I was prepping them at someone's house and there wasn't a suitable knife in sight. However, apart from being a little scrappy on the trim, they were good to eat.

Yeah with these I find it better not to do a St. Louis trim but cook whole spares...just trim the excess fatty layer from the meaty side and remove the membrane from the bone side...pretty good value
