By popular demand I have ordered a pallet load of 40lb bags of Hickory chunks from USA which should be available from April.
When you add together all the costs price to me is going to be £40 something so with mark up is going to be over £50 a bag.
Local Oak, Cherry etc all a lot cheaper !

Hi Chaps ... will answer both queries
As the other stuff comes from USA I would imagine same smoke strength but may be from a different region.
Sizes are bigger than the litle offcuts I had, small logs but I haven't seen them in the flesh so will post a picture when they arrive.
