I stumbled on this forum yesterday when I was looking for a meat syringe, I bought one in the US 15 yrs ago and it just packed up.
I do the low and slow, my wife who is Serb/Croatian does the grilling and Peka cooking.On the family holiday home on the Island of Hvar we built a stone BBQ and Smoke House, in Krusevac Serbia friends run a Take away BBQ pit for whole pigs and lambs.

Welcome, I think you will find lots of fun here, as to building a BBQ pit for whole hogs n lambs here in the UK my money is on you running into the local authorities' planning and "Health and bleedin' Safety" Czars.

However If you succeed don't forget to invite the forum to your inaugural bash
