Hey,
Ive tried a few different types of charcoal recently and haven't been impressed with any of them.
I had some lumpwood from tesco which seemed to spit and crackle all the way through burning, Supagrill briquettes had a strange smell, and supagrill lumpwood was really fine (no large chunks).
Any idea where I can get some decent charcoal from? I quite fancied trying the cocoshell stuff but I havent ever seen it for sale. I'm based in Grimsby, NE Lincolnshire.
Incase any of the national chains stock anything good heres a list of what's near me;
Tesco
Sainsburys
Morrisons
ASDA
B&Q
Homebase
Wickes
Shell
Esso
...

If you want the Supagrill Cocoshell briquettes then the easiest way to get them is order them from Coals2U, there is a minimum order of £50 but that's 10 bags delivered to your door

If you have a former-SavaCentre petrol station nearby, they may sell cocoshell briquettes - that's where I get mine. They're not available in the store itself and not available in either the store or on the forecourt of the other Sainsbury's locally.
