Thanks for the heads up on these.
I'm tempted to get one to take camping. Not for use as a BBQ as I have my "Go Anywhere" for that but to use as a fire pit for when things get a bit chilly in the evening. It'd make a great focal point to sit round as we finish the wine as the sun goes down.

Re: Argentinean BBQ
Thanks for the pointer Eddie a very interesting programme. Definitely better than your usual cookery show. As well as some great bits about food and cooking a fantastic insight into the people that created the food. I will be looking for the other shows in the series.

Re: WSM 37/47/57 What size do I need!?
Hi Nanno,
I went through a similar decision this time last year when the 37cm had just come out. Half of the time I'm cooking for just myself so was thinking the 37cm might be the better option. However I decided to go with the 47cm and glad I did as it just gives you more flexibility. I'd rather ...

Re: WANTED: Rotisserie for 57CM Kettle
There's no question the Weber Rotisserie is not cheap but after trying out an alternate for my Spirit Gasser I ended up getting the Weber one. The alternate was about 1/2 the price but in my opinion was far too noisy which would have been annoying when sitting by the BBQ with guests and chatting ...

Re: Maverick Wireless Thermometers
After reading posts on here I opted for the ET-732. There is one probe for the grill temp and one for internal food temp.
I found it straight forward to set up alarms for min and max temp. Handy to be able to see how temps progressing both on grill and food without keep opening lid to take meat ...

Re: Freeezing pulled pork & brisket?
I've frozen some Pulled Pork that was already shredded, just tightly packed in a take away tub. That tested fine simply reheated in the microwave. Made a very nice supper.
Last smoke I froze a whole Pork shoulder but yet to see how that comes out. I dare say it's not quite going to be as good as ...

Re: New to gas & lava rocks... Looking for advice please :)
Hi Zeesaffa,
I use a Gas Grill but with flavorizer bars as opposed to lava rocks. One thing with a gas grill is that it needs to be level so I assume you have checked this. Are you able to fire the grill up without the rocks in place? If so do the burners all light evenly. I would expect some ...

Re: Waitrose BBQ range
Thanks for posing the link as I found the whole programme very interesting to watch, not just the BBQ bits. I'll be looking out for the rest of the series.
