Hi Bobsy,

I needn’t have worried. I’m not exactly aiming for competition grade ‘que at the moment and the Slow N Sear held a pretty solid 250 once everything settled down. Would like to do a brisket next!!

Hi Bobsy,

It went surprisingly well!

The Slow N Sear looked after itself for the most part and I was able to go back to bed after a 6am start :D I smoked a pork shoulder for around 12 hours but had to cut the cook off just a little earlier than I wanted to as the stall lasted much longer than I ...

Getting a bit worried! No wireless thermometer

I’ve been dreaming about setting up a cook tomorrow but the more I read, the more I worry that I haven’t got a leave-in thermometer.

I have a digital thermometer but not one that could be left in for constant monitoring. Was hoping to smoke a pork butt or brisket but not sure if it’ll work.
