I watched the last episode of this - I cringed at the spit-roast chicken. I can see multitudes of people getting ill eating under-cooked chicken this summer. Cooking chicken pieces on a BBQ is difficult enough for most people - let alone cooking a whole bird on a home-made spit.

How many people are going to get in trouble for digging holes in their local parks? That's almost as irresponsible as James Martin suggesting popping down to your local river to trap Crayfish, you need a licence from the local authority unless you own it of course

That's probably where all the Eastern European poachers are going wrong, they're using cut up trout and salmon they've poached from streams and ponds in Happy Herts

Aye. If anyone can barbecue on whole chicken over an open fire after watching a 6 minute clip, well hats off to 'em, and good luck trying.
