plenty of folk are concerned about BBQs in public spaces and rightly so due to the mass use of disposable grills which damage lawns and create health and safety issues. I for one believe its time to ban these products but feel that we should follow the line of other countries who provide permanent BBQ structures in designated areas for the public to use. It is then our duty to help teach the public how to treat these spaces respectfully, not easy in a country where we have decided that children should not be disciplined for bad behaviour. Bring back the birch!
