Geeky new toy arrived from over the pond today..

All set up on the network and can access through internet from outside the LAN ie for when I nip to the shops for more beer supplies...

E-mail alerts set-up, and set-up to integrate with pit-pal pro app for android so I can archive and export all my cook data to excel!

Nice bit of kit! Surely a setup like that deserves more than an excel spreadsheet though... how about a proper database? :D ;)

You can always put a front end query interface on the Excel, importantly he has decided to save his data. Can't wait for the serialisation....:)

I wasn't criticising the decision, apologies if that is how it could have been read. I am hugely impressed by the whole setup. :)
