Paints...

Post by Rivierabbq »

OK, i know not to apply it to the inside, but my Brinkmanns require an overhall.. so, can i use any heat resistant paint, or should i just stick to BBQ specific paints????

Never having done it I would assume (yes I know what that infers ;) ) that if the paint manufacturer's state it will be suitable for the high heat of your BBQ then it SHOULD work. I suppose it depends what colours you want to paint it
Other opinions are available, and probably better :D

;) thats why i thought i would ask as my opinion to myself is slightly foggy, lol...

Engine, BBQ and Stove paints, of various colours, all seem to have a 'resistant to 600c' label on them, but just thought i would ask.
