and it was a big one!

Hosted 60+ friends, family & kids in the garden for my Wife's 40th.

2 x 5KG butts on the GMG DB
10 x rib racks on the Pro-Q Excel
Side of cajun salmon & Huli-Huli chicken thighs on the Weber kettle.
Sausages & burgers on the Weber gasser

Really pleased with how it went and got so many complements on the food. Finally justified to the Wife my I really do need all that kit :P

Shame I was too busy to take any photos but these were shared by others.

Wow. Sounds like a monumental day! Glad it went well! Think I'd struggle with just my lot let alone guests!

Link has come out weird by the way.

Sounds like you had alot of fun - at what ungodly early hour in the morning did you get started on all that to have it ready on time? :D

Took Friday off to put up the marquee, collect the meat & prepare rubs, sauces etc.

Dry brined the butts during day then chucked them on the pellet grill around 11:30 pm. The GMG ticks away happily overnight on a full load of pellets but still found myself waking up and checking temps on the Maverick (old habits die hard). The kids kindly woke me up at 5:30am on Saturday  so had plenty of time to get the rest ready for a 1pm start.

Not sure why the links didn't work, tested them on another laptop & iPhone and could view on both.
