New restaurant which is local to me in East Yorks are looking for some extra help in the kitchen and asked if I'd post the vacancy for them:

Senior Sous Chef Required

We are searching for a permanent experienced Sous Chef who is hard working and committed to building a successful career in a young and fast expanding new concept business. We are a 72 cover American BBQ restaurant, serving a taste of the Southern states of America. Serving 200-300 covers per day.

This an exciting role, and you will help develop systems and procedures that will be rolled out to new branches. The potential for growth and development will be unlimited.

The ability to work to budgets, and develop supplier relationships is essential, as well as the ability to train and develop team members and help the business grow. The ability to manage staff rotas and hours to set budgets is required. Menu design and development experience are pre-requisites and an interest and understanding in American Barbecue Smoking techniques would be a distinct advantage.

This roll is not for the faint hearted, it is fast paced, however it is very rewarding and your best efforts will be recognised.

Salary is dependent on experience.
