Lesson learned?

So... lit, temp settled, ribs on and out for a few hours. Never had an issue until today!
Somehow a carrier bag has flown over my fence, landed and melted all over my proq!
See pic attached!
I just hope it peels off!

Umm No PIcs. Your ProQ is more robust than a carrier bag so a blowtorch/weed burner will do the trick. I don't know what marring of the surface will remain though. Good luck, it's a gut wrenching blow when an old friend ends up scarred for life :( :(

My heart goes out to you :(

It should burn off but I have no idea what mess it would leave.

It's not what on the outside, it's what’s happening inside that matters?

Aye it was me - Alan.

Its been well used, and well looked after (untill last weekend)

I think my point was as much, the restaurant grade bags - if that had of landed on my ProQ it would likely have set on fire.

I think most the damage has peeleed off, going to try and remove the rest tomorrow before my days BBQ'in goes on.

I do love my ProQ.
