Where will it end?

Right chaps,
Where will it end? I have throughout my bbq life resisted the all powerful juggernaut of Weber, dismissing their wares as "overpriced" and "you wont find me paying that sort of money"
After signing up for this forum I end the summer with a chimeney starter which I justified as its only a few quid more, a rectangular Pizza stone which was a present and my latest aquisisition a 57cm kettle to arrive tomorrow justified with "well for £50 quid....."
So those of you that have been through the cycle of Weber addiction can you tell me where it will end, a row of WSM no doubt, but are there any hi or lo lights I can expect on the way?
Thinking of things like justifying nearly £20 for a spatula, or the "well, actually this <insert Weber product> is exceptional value....."
Figure I need to know how bad this is going to get.........
Cheers

I've got 9 weber grills/smokers, I hope it's ended for me but I'm tempted by that b and q offer, and I know I will want a jumbo joe when they come out

I can justify buying Weber grill & chimneys as they are so good. However I'll stick with the old faithfulls with tongs, spatulas etc as they fit my hands and are cheaper.
Doubtless there are many people out there (not on here) who will buy Weber branded bbq items for the same reason they buy David Beckham underwear i.e. it makes them perform better....................well it must it/they work for him. I've been to so many houses in my old job and seen so many "Show Kitchens" with the latest and best branded everything on show and you know they've never been used, also to older well kept loved and used kitchens which have produced astounding foods. I'm hoping it 30 or 40 years my well kept loved and used bbq's will be used by my daughter and her family (assuming low b slow is still in fashion).

don't look, think or talk about ceramic cookers then, you'll find that a more expensive obsession yet!

My daughter & her boyfriend visited a huge garden centre in the Reading area (or a garden centre with a huge BBQ section) and "fell in love" with the BGE. Sadly with no comp at Rudgewick they weren't able to se one in action, but there is a piggy bank dedicated to one

I'm not one of those people who will only buy Weber. But I do sometimes pay a bit more for Weber when it's not strictly necessary.
I buy Weber tools (spatula, tongs, etc) as they match and look nice together.
I've had other makes, and with a few exceptions they've been fine - as good as the Webers - but they don't match and it doesn't look as nice.

Hi chaps,
Beastie has arrived and is now assembled in the front room, but I have some leftover bits and this is never a good sign.
I have a plastic scoop come small bucket affair which I believe to be a charcoal scoop and 2 items described as "wire rails" which are about 10" by 3" with 2 small hooky things on them. have tried hanging them in various positions but they seem utterly superfluous, charcoal grate and cooking grate fit fine, anyone know what they are for?
Also at the risk of further purchase I thought this came equipped with charcoal baskets so you could set up for indirect.....guessing these are extra anyone point me at a good vendor...
Final smile was that they also included a single aluminium foil drip tray.......
I do rather like it tho!
Cheers

I think they are rails that slot perpendicular into the charcoal grate, to hold the charcoal back to the sides. Instead of charcoal baskets.
are they these?

if so they should be mounted like this

The rails clip onto the charcoal grate allowing you to divide it into areas. Ie an area for charcoal and area to be left empty for when you are cooking indirect. They are not really necessary, I never bother with mine.
Te charcoal baskets, I sometimes use mine but again theyre not a big deal
