I have used one in Canada and found it to be capable device, but under adverse conditions it battled to get to temp (6 foot of snow and -10 Degrees C). From a cost perspective the pellet fed smokers are cheaper to run (like a small lil-tex traeger or a Green Mountain) and they tend to be able to do higher variations of temp (Bradley will max out @ 280, but the pellets can do up to 350f), these are in the same price range as the Bradleys 6 rib digital. If you ever wanted to compete you could not use the Bradley as it uses a heated element at the bottom of the smoker instead of the pellet smokers, which actually burn the pellets. If you just want ease of use there is very little between the pellet and the Bradley disc smokers. Whats the plan for the smoker?
